How to determine time by the one-hand watch

One of the «highlights» of Minsk Watch Plant is the one-hand watch.

We have a rich palette of one-hand watch collections: One-hand watchLarge one-hand watchWomen’s one-hand watch.

Many people think that this is our invention. But the story began much earlier. The sundial of the 14th century BC became the prototype of the one-hand watch - an invention of the ancient Egyptians. At that time, people were philosophical about time and did not need accuracy. Now the one-hand watch is ideal for those who demonstrate freedom in time and dictate their own rules to it. If you are such a person, then here is a checklist for you on how to determine time using one-hand watches:

1) Hours are identified by the numbers on the dial (the largest element)

2) Minutes are identified by divisions between numbers. One small division equals 5 minutes, and a large division equals 10 minutes. Bold division between numbers – 30 minutes, or half an hour.

3) It is almost impossible to determine seconds by one-hand watches.
